Well the Good Lord certainly does try us to the limit sometimes! What with Covid19, no petrol and very high winds, 12 very brave souls turned up to our 1st Afternoon Tea for over 50’s. A table ladened with homemade goodies and the best china greeted them, plus the “Sales Table” was up and running for the first time. The saying “like bees round a honey pot” was brought to mind, as we all had bargains from the table. We were pleased to welcome our Catholic and Non Catholic friends. A big thank you to Lulu, Lilian and Shirley for all their help, without them it would not have been such a success. Next date: Thursday 28th October at 2pm. Do come and join us.
