Where in your everyday life do you experience love, truth, goodness, hope and joy? When you reflect on your life now, and look to the future, what causes you concern or worry.? What is the purpose of the Catholic Church in the world today?
Three questions which people in the Archdiocese of Liverpool were given in a questionnaire distributed as part of the preparation for a Synod to be held in the Archdiocese in October 2020. Archbishop Malcolm McMahon, in a pastoral letter said:” I am calling us to be bold and creative in the task of rethinking the goals, structures, style and methods of evangelisation in our archdiocesan community.” I think that those questions are important and are really for everyone to discuss and perhaps should not be restricted to Liverpool! Please think about them in coming days and discuss them with your friends and relations – both young and old!
