National Relic Tour 2025

It is impossible to name everyone who made this day such a success.  We had so many helpers form both churches in the parish who worked in the background as well as all of the organising committee, many of whom stayed all day.  Visitors came from all over including Hastings, Robertsbridge, Firle, Selmeston, Eastbourne and many more, all were very impressed with everything.  So it is with grateful hearts, a big thank you to those who serve our parish so well and so faithfully.

St George’s

St George’s:  If you have a child under 4 there is a box of toys and books at the back of St George’s church by the   welcoming  table. Please feel free to borrow these so your child is entertained and you feel less stressed during mass. We welcome all little ones, it is their Church too and we  really don’t mind them crying or talking. That was once us!!

CAFOD: Response in Gaza

Your donations to Gaza since the start of the conflict have been a vital lifeline. Right now, CAFOD’s partner, Caritas Jerusalem, is delivering essential medical treatment to displaced people and providing medicines to treat chronic illnesses. We have helped 1,400 households with cash to buy supplies in the last month and we are currently feeding 2,000 people with new stocks of flour and rice. Despite the restrictions on aid coming into Gaza, CAFOD’s local partners are working tirelessly to help people. And with your ongoing support, they will do all in their power to keep doing so. You can find out more about how you can make a difference in Gaza at cafod.org.uk. Thank you for backing our work through holding collections for our Family Fast Day appeals and for continuing to pray for peace in the Middle East.
