The Spotlight Players:

St Wilfrid’s Bereavement Mass

This special mass led by Fr Rory was preceded by the lighting of the candle and placing notes on the tree for deceased loved ones.  We were each given a yellow rose, then into the hall for refreshments.  Gary did a great job of showing on screen our departed family and friends.  Thank you to all those who helped to make this day special.

Catholic Women’s League West Hub:

The Catholic Women’s League West Hub meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7.00pm in Christ the King Parish Hall. All ladies are warmly invited to join us! The Wednesday Dec 3rd meeting will include a Christmas craft activity and some light festive refreshments. A lovely opportunity to share faith and friendship.
 

Christmas Melodies Concert:

Christmas Melodies Concert by South Downs Singers at St George’s Church on Saturday 13th December at 3.30 pm. Tickets £10 and can be purchased from Shirley or Anne at St George’s or calling 01323 832767. This community choir regularly makes donations, through its concerts, to local charities and welcome your support. You will be encouraged to join in well loved carols, as well as listening to beautiful seasonal pieces from the choir.
 

St Wilfrid’s Festive Wreath & Centrepiece Workshop:

Saturday 22nd November, 5.30 pm in St Wilfrid’s Hall. Come along for a fun evening making your own festive wreath and/or centrepiece – all materials provided. £15 per person to cover costs. Linking Lives Eastbourne

Linking Lives Eastbourne are looking for a Grant Coordinator to work part-time and join their Admin Team for 10 hours per month. Work flexibility around Grant schedules (at least two sessions per month) home-based with regular meetings with the Team via Zoom or in person. Volunteer Request:

As part of our Trussell relationship with Tesco nationally we have a collection coming up at the Hailsham Tesco on   Friday 28th and Saturday 29th November between 9-3 both days.  It will involve encouraging shoppers to buy an item for us and thanking people for their donations.
