Fr Rory and all our parishioners would like to wish Agnes a very happy 98th Birthday.
Our next Breakfast will be Sun 27th September after mass at St G’s. We will be raising funds for the Foodbank. Thank you to everyone who supports us with these breakfasts.
We will be celebrating Harvest Festival at St Wilfrid’s Church on Sunday 27th September – a time to thank God for His gifts and share them with others. A produce sale in aid of CAFOD will follow the 10.30am Mass (donations of fruit, veg, preserves, or baked goods welcome on Saturday 26th September) Foodbank collection: Non-perishable items may be left in the church porch from this weekend. Thank you.

Mental Health Awareness training – Sat 17 Oct 10-3pm at The St Philip Howard Centre, Crawley – cost £40
Thanks to the support of Mental Health England, we are able to offer this “Mental Health Awareness” training, to explore the realities, symptoms and impact of living with these many debilitating conditions. One of the challenges that we are experiencing in our modern world is the growing number of people, of all ages, experiencing the darkness and challenge of various mental health conditions. The training is being highly subsidised and tickets are just £40 per delegate (usual price £120). Sat 22 August, 6pm after the Vigil Mass. Includes adoration and the opportunity for confession; free refreshments and a chance to put Fr Neil on the spot with questions about the Faith. Open to everyone aged 18 to early thirties.

Mass for Altar Servers at Arundel Cathedral, Sat 12 Sept at 12noon: Fr Aaron Spinelli, Diocesan Director for the Guild of St Stephen, invites all diocesan altar servers to a special Mass at Arundel Cathedral. The occasion will offer an opportunity to celebrate and thank servers for their service to our parish communities. The Mass for Altar Servers is for all those who have served, all those who are serving, and anybody who would like to serve – all are very welcome to attend. Please bring a cassock/cotta or an Alb, if possible. Holy Mass will be followed by light refreshments. Please bring a packed lunch.
