School Chaplains: Taste and See Sessions
The need for every Secondary School to have a full-time Chaplain and for Chaplaincy to be available for every Primary School was identified in the Pastoral Plan. To help this happen, Bishop Richard Moth, and Father Stephen Ortiger, O.S.B., (Diocesan Chaplain Coordinator) will be holding a series of regional meetings for members of parish communities who would like to find out more about School Chaplaincy. These will run from 7 pm to 8.30 pm on Thursday 6th June at the Sacred Heart, Cobham, Wednesday 12th June, at the Holy Cross Priory, Heathfield, and Thursday 13th June at St John The Evangelist, Horsham. To reserve a place contact Claire Martin, CPD Administrator at the Diocesan Education Service [email protected] or ring Claire Martin on 01293 511130.

Important Notice for parishioners using St George’s Hall
Important notice for parishioners using St George’s Hall – There have been several instances in the last few weeks of the hall doors being left unlocked, lights not switched off, the cooker switch left on and the heating being left on for 24 hours. If your group uses the hall, the leader, or leader on that day is held responsible for ensuring the hall is left clean, floor swept for the next user, lights and heating switched off, windows shut and doors locked. It is important that the hall is used by parish groups, but with this comes a huge responsibility for its care.
