Our parish Harvest Festival will be celebrated at both St George’s and St Wilfrid’s on Sunday 28th September — a time to thank God for His gifts and share them with others.
¨ St George’s: The Monthly Charity Breakfast will follow the 9.00am Mass, raising funds for Eastbourne & Hailsham Foodbanks.
¨ St Wilfrid’s: A produce sale in aid of CAFOD will follow the 10.30am Mass (donations of fruit, veg, preserves, or baked goods welcome at Friday Mass, Saturday Adoration, or on the day).
¨ Foodbank Collection at both churches: Non-perishable items may be left in either church porch during the week.
CAFOD Family Fast Day – Friday 3rd October
Eat simply and donate to parish collection to help communities like Waré’s in Ethiopia, where women walk for hours to collect water. Your gift brings signs of hope in this Jubilee Year. Use the CAFOD envelope in church, digital plate or follow this QR code to make your donation.
Harvest Ploughman’s Lunch AT St Wilfrid’s – Sunday 5th October
To round off our harvest celebrations, St Wilfrid’s will be hosting a Harvest Ploughman’s Lunch after the 10.30 Mass on Sunday 5th October. Tickets are £5, with all proceeds going to CAFOD. Please sign up in advance if you’d like to attend. We’d love to share this simple, joyful meal with you.
