St Georges Children’s Liturgy

Children’s Liturgy of the Word at St George’s Church is much valued. It starts in the Church hall at 9am each Sunday during term time.

All the children enjoy the teaching of the Gospel of the day in a way that helps them to understand its wider meaning.

Our Spiritual Director is Fr Rory and parishioners and parents work on a rota system. All parents attending are asked to help if possible.

We welcome all children to our liturgy and have seen this valued group go from strength to strength.

If anyone is interested in bring children or grandchildren, please just turn up or, for more information, speak to a member of the children’s liturgy team. Names are on the rota on the board at the back of the church hall.

On Family Mass days, (usually the first Sunday of the month) the normal Mass time of 9am needs to be adhered to, with the service being wholly in the church.

If anyone would like to help or become involved in the children’s liturgy in any way please contact Sandra at St George’s Church or via the Priest’s Office on 01323 841504
